Method Black Suede

I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately my experience with NOKWOL has been extremely disappointing from start to finish.

The shoes themselves are very average. Based on the marketing and price point, I expected something much more premium, but in reality there was nothing particularly special about them.

The biggest issue, however, was the overall customer experience.

I paid extra for Express Shipping, yet my order wasn’t dispatched for several days. There were no updates, and I had to contact customer support myself to find out why nothing was happening. I was later told there had been an issue with my delivery address. If that was the case, why wasn’t I contacted immediately? Had I not followed up myself, I have no idea how much longer the order would have sat there.

When the shoes finally arrived, they were half a size too big, so I had to return them at my own expense. I then had to place a completely new order, pay Express Shipping again, and also pay around $20 for return postage. The additional costs added up very quickly.

The return process was equally frustrating. Australia Post confirmed that my return had been delivered, yet it still took multiple follow-ups before the refund was processed. Even the goodwill refund that NOKWOL had promised required another follow-up before it was addressed.

Overall, I spent far more money than expected on shipping, return postage, international transaction fees, and the time spent chasing updates throughout the process.

While the customer support team was polite in their responses, the overall process was slow and required far too much effort from me as the customer.

For a pair of shoes priced at over AUD $200, I expected a much smoother experience.

Unfortunately, based on my overall experience with the purchase, exchange, return and refund process, I wouldn’t recommend buying from NOKWOL, especially if you’re ordering internationally. There are many brands offering products at a similar price point with a far more seamless customer experience.
